Antique Haviland, Limoges delicate bouquets of pink and blue roses, with trailing green leaves, thin yellow ochre border around each piece, against a creamy-white ground. Lovely, small porcelain sculpture, bust, of Josephine Bonaparte, first wife of Napoleon, and Empress of the French. The mark on the reverse of this piece -- the gold anchor of Chelsea -- coupled with the gold, porcelain origin mark of "Germany," on the base, indicates to us that this 18th Century Chelsea mark of England, is forged, or "borrowed," as was often the case in the 19th century.
