Appearing as if polished Jade, is this Rare late 19th to early 20th Century Italian, opaque pink, Muranese "Opal" glass (opaline), with gold-plated rim and ring-handles; six genuine, semi-precious stones of Jade (or perhaps Chalcedny), Coral-(2), Turquoise, Black Onyx, and Carnelian. Rare, diminutive Cup, signed in gilt, "Daum Nancy" on the base, along with the Cross of Lorraine. The piece is from Daum's early years when their designs were decorated primarily in gilt, before they began creating cameo glass. Rare color, size, and pattern in this yellow-amber overlay, 19th Century Bohemian glass Goblet, wheel-engraved to clear, with scenes of the castle, a fox (or rabbit), great heron, and alternating scroll work, as well as attractive rim pattern which matches that on the foot.
