Six Large, lovely, straight-sided crystal clear Venetian Art Glass Goblets, with attached baluster stem, ribbed and included with gold, surrounded by pink rigaree decoration. Attached foot with rolled rim, sharp pontil. Included gold throughout the goblet, including the bowl, although that within the bowl is very difficult to see in the photos. 6.75" tall, 3.75" bowl diameter, 3.25" foot diameter. This is a rare and stunning piece of Salviati Venetian Glass, from 1890 to 1900...winged dragons, opalescent column, luminous (though does not fluoresce) chartreuse (a color rarely seen in surviving pieces), rolled-edge foot, and generous included gold everywhere. The top has at some point been lost or broken--it was either a candelabrum (probably removable) or tazza, and we observe that the professional who repaired it did an excellent job of salvaging the beauty of this piece. 19th Century Salviati or Toso Art Glass Goblet, documented in Sheldon Barr's book, "Venetian Glass, Confections in Glass 1855-1914;" large, elegant, quilted, gold-included Goblet. The goblet appears in the upper, left-hand corner of the endpapers of Barr's book, and again on page 108. Barr describes them as being by "Salviati, Barovier, or Toso."
