Antique table or niche Lamp of Alabaster-white Italian Carrara Marble; an opening in lid of this unique, urn-type lamp allows for the escape of the heat from a small electric bulb; display lamp with or without the attractively carved lid. Probably originally designed for a candle. 11" (27.94 cm) tall, 3.75" (9.52 cm) diameter. A few scattered, very minor abrasions, one nick on back right corner (pictured), overall excellent condition.
