Charming Venetian Art Glass Vase from Murano, Italy, early 20th Century. The well shaped vase is made up of soft shadow ribbing, both the body and the foot. Clear, gold-included, tool-worked rigaree decorates four sides of the vase, and the rim of the attached foot. The entire vase is richly embellished with gold. Sharp pontil, center base. In addition to tiny raised beading throughout, the vase has four individual rows of white beading, each encased in two circles of gilt. Unusual pair of 19th Century Art Glass Vases, probably English, Stevens & Williams. A beautiful pattern of dotted "quilting" runs the entire length of the vases. The inner glass is a Deep Cranberry at the rim, gradually fading to Pale Pink. Difficult to see in the photos, is an outer casing of crystal over the cranberry.
