A most unusual, and lovely vase the maker of which we are unsure, although it reminds us of what Eddy Scheepers refers to on his Loetz site, as "Kralik Silveria," although the tiny diamond pattern of this vase is pink opalescent, where his examples are, lusterous iridesence. An exquisite late 19th Century, to early 20th, Venetian Tazza (a footed serving bowl distinctively Venetian), probably Salviati Dott., Antonio. It is pale green, girasol (opalesence) and much real gold leaf dust throughout the glass. Small ribs swirl out from the center, whirling perfectly out to the edges where it is rimmed in emerald green glass.
