SOLD

A most unusual, and lovely vase the maker of which we are unsure, although it reminds us of what Eddy Scheepers refers to on his Loetz site, as "Kralik Silveria," although the tiny diamond pattern of this vase is pink opalescent, where his examples are, lusterous iridesence. This piece also presents an organic style like those Scheepers examples of shell-shaped "silveria" pieces. The pale green "tendrils," "tentacles," or "petals," are covered ...click for details

SOLD-

The best of two 19th Century glass worlds are brought together in this set; Salviati Dott., Antonio was the maker of the Venetian glass, and Ludwig Moser, the Bohemian enameling house. Prior to having license to melt his own glass, Moser decorated glass created by the finest of glassworks, and Salviati's Venetian glass was often a glass of choice. Research shows that Moser took this enameling scene from a 16th Century Spanish glass enameling design, matching it exactly. It is interesting ...click for details
