Lithograph of Renoir's son, Claude; the original drawing from which this lithograph was taken, was likely created around 1907. Renoir is known to have made many drawings of his sons, especially Claude. Modernist mid-century woodblock print from 1967, signed and dated, in its original frame, enameled red. The frame is almost as interesting as the woodcut, and although it has an Asian look, it is likely Russian in origin. The artist, translated from Russian, is A. Antonov. Wonderful old oil painting on artist's panel, signed lower right, "G. Hecht" (?). Carved wood frame has, at some point, been refinished in liquid gilt. Our lady is charming in her blue hat, cape and long, over-the-elbow gloves; flower decoration center front, and an obscure pearl necklace. The original varnish has dried to a "pebble" finish, but does not hurt the charm of this portrait.
