Wonderful old oil painting on artist's panel, signed lower right, "G. Hecht" (?). Carved wood frame has, at some point, been refinished in liquid gilt. Our lady is charming in her blue hat, cape and long, over-the-elbow gloves; flower decoration center front, and an obscure pearl necklace. The original varnish has dried to a "pebble" finish, but does not hurt the charm of this portrait.
