Fine impressionist Oil Painting on board, by 20th Century, listed Soviet artist, Vasili (also, Vasiley) Andrrianovich Zaitchenko (1912-1980s), of Barges on the Black Sea. Fine oil painting, portrait of a beautiful young woman, in a handmade, hand-gilt frame. Some minor craquelure is noted, as well as one tiny flake beneath her chin, and what appears to have been a one-time crease across the lower portion. We believe this portrait has been cut from and rescued from a larger painting which was probably damaged.
