$300 USD

Small, heavy, light patina bronze lion in warning position, unsigned, measures 5.50" (13.97 cm) long, 1.25" (3.17 cm) wide, 2.875" (7.30 cm) tall. Appears to be sand-cast which could indicate it is quite old, although we are most comfortable with the claim of "antique," knowing that this piece came from a collector of 17th-19th Century lions. Actual age and origin unknown. Excellent condition with some verdigris. $14 US Shipping. [see our item no. 3821 for similar]

He is beautifully and intricately formed, measures 5" (12.70 cm) long, about 2.50" (6.35 cm) wide, and about 2" (5.08 cm) tall. Condition is as described and as seen in the photos, with most of the remaining gilt near and on the base. Fr ...click for details
