Signed, Large, white Tole tray with handpainted "Roman Forum" in black; gold around edges of pierced tray sides. 20" x 15" x 1.50" (50.08 x 38.10 x 3.81 cm). It is unusual to find a signed piece of tole ware; see the initials "K.R." lower right of the painting. Beautifully painted, with small losses on the front of the tray, some around the rim at the gilding, and quite a bit of wear on the back (see photos). c. 1950-1970. $18 US Shipping.

Charming early 20th Century, Japanned, metal Toleware Tea Caddy, with brass scoop holder, ball finial, and four ball feet; punched border around lid, handpainted lid decoration. Could work nicely as a desk accessory for holding stamps or other small items, and using the scoop holder as a letter rack. 6.25" x 4.75" x 2" (15.87 x 12.06 x 5.08 cm) tall, plus the extension of the 2" (5.08 cm) scoop holder.
