Unique small bowl which we identify as very thin, polished onyx, although it may indeed be some of mineral or gemstone. Note the interesting and varied natural striations within the material. While the outside and beveled foot have been highly polished to resemble a glass surface, it appears the inside has been acid treated for a contrasting, matte finish.
