Collection of Rare and wonderful brilliant gold Shelves/Brackets, all with handcarved Rose motif. The largest, single shelf has been overpainted at some point and is much more dull in color and finish than all of the others, all which appear to retain their original bright gold finishes, and all matching in color. The largest also has an area of missing gesso and gold on the top of the center rose carving. Early 1900s Venetian hanging Crystal Light Fixture. Four gold-colored metal "harp & scroll" flat rods make up the basic shape of this beautiful fixture; each of these is sandwiched between Venetian crystal in the same shape, which is held on by clear plastic rosettes. The entire piece is original with perhaps rewiring and the replacement of 4 or 5 of the 31 faceted crytal drops. It measures approximately 21.5" (54.61 cm) long, 12.5" (31.75 cm) diameter. Lattimo (white) "Alabastro" Lamp on brass base, brass socket. 23" (58.42 cm) to top of socket, glass is 15" (38.10 cm) high, 6.25" (15.87 cm) diameter brass base. This perfectly matches our set of Cenedese, Murano, Alabastro 7-piece Vanity Set (item 983), and we attribute this lamp, also, to Cenedese.
