Handpainted Portrait on Porcelain, "Made in Italy," small tray with wire hanger on verso; after Amedeo Modigliani (1884-1920, Italy). The portrait is after Modigliani's "Young Girl with Brown Hair," 1918, pictured. An illegible signature, in black, appears lower center. Measures 8.75" x 5" x .625" deep (22.22 x 12.70 x 1.58 cm). Excellent condition with one small flake to verso foot, pictured. c. 1950-1960. |
