| Exceptional 24" (60.96 cm) crystal nude by ARS Murano, created and signed by Elio Raffaeli, a principal of the company. From an early age, Raffaeli worked with the best of Murano, including Salviati, Seguso, Flavio Poli, and others. In 1982, he and his associates enjoyed the realization of their own company, ARS Murano (they have a website), now a major force in the Italian art glass market and known and respected throughout the world. This crystal nude is one of Elio's earlier pieces, created about the time of the formation of ARS, and is signed on the 6" (15.24 cm) diameter base, "Elio Raffaeli." This piece is all the more special as the Master Raffaeli has retired and will be creating no more art glass. Excellent condition, with minimal, normal manufacturing anomalies. 36" (91.44 cm) black plexiglas lighted Pedestal is included in the purchase price. c. 1980-1985. $80 US Shipping & Handling. | |||||||||
