| Rare shape and very rare mark. Wonderful Handpainting skill in this beautiful, antique French porcelain plate, double-marked in green underglaze, "T&V France," and orange underglaze bell logo, "T.V. France." Tressemanes & Vogt. was a Limoges, France porcelain maker, and the shape of this piece (chrysanthemum?) is rare and wonderful. The unsigned handpainted picture is colorful, skillfully executed, and shows interesting period detail in the costumes and background. Very tiny, intricate gilding surrounds each petal of the "flower," and we make note that some of this gilding is missing, a completely restorable feature.
