| Early 20th Century Handmade Italian Pietra Dura, Hardstone Mosaic Painting, of a colorfully clad farm woman wearing scarf and carrying a rooster in one hand, and a basket of eggs in the other. A number of fine semi-precious and other hard stones have been used to make up this delightful plaque, all set into black slate with beveled edges. It measures 9" x 4.5" x .25" thick (22.86 x 11.43 x .063 cm). Display framed or unframed on a table easel, hang on the wall, or mount onto a special piece of furniture or tray.
