| Likely produced by Salviati's Venice and Murano Glass Company, from the furnaces of the Barovier brothers, an exquisite 19th Century fanciful Venetian glass basket with wide, thick copper aventurine encircling the rim; three cranberry drops decorate the sides, while a cranberry "shell" catches the triad of handles at the top, and three applied crystal feet support the opalescent glass beauty at the base; polished pontil; a few minute potash specks lend further authenticity to age and are typical. 8.25" (20.95 cm) tall, 5.25" (13.33 cm) diameter.
