Beardsley, (1867-1938, U.S.), well-listed; worked in oils and watercolor; most associated with landscapes, western landscapes; worked early 1900s in Colorado; this painting is of the Rocky Mountains during that time period. A small pin hole in the center top, presumably where the artist board was stabilized while he painted this small landscape. 5.5" x 7.5" (13.97 x 19.05 cm), in the original frame to 8.5" x 10.5" (21.59 x 26.67 cm).
