| Insert a mirror, photo, or painting in this 19th Century Handcarved wood, Oval frame, original deep gold finish provides a lovely patina. 21st Century handpainted, slightly concave inner border of blue and aqua flowers. The decoration excepted, the frame is completely original, including the very elegant and attractive embossed fabric backing. Note the age-appropriate dragon-like motif of the fabric--fraying has begun on the fabric edge. A wonderful example of a hand-constructed Italian frame, which has been attractively enhanced with a floral border. 17" x 12.75" x .75" (43.18 x 32.38 x 1.90 cm).
