| Antique, hand-colored engravings -- 1) The Woo-Tang Mountains of China; a person of nobility is being carried in a special carriage, preceded and followed by their entourage. Original 1843 steel engraving drawn by T. Allom, engraved by T. A. Prior. 2) Se Tseoau Shan, or The Western Seared Hills, showing detailed daily life in port; original 1843 steel engraving, drawn by T. Allom, engraved by J. Redaway. Giltwood frames to 8" x 6" x 1" (20.32 x 15.24 x 2.54 cm). Engravings have been examined out of frames, and are in excellent condition except that the margins and notations have been cut off, presumably to fit the frames, bringing them to measure 5" x 7".
