| 19th Century Oil Painting on Board, by Benjamin-Eugene Fichel [1826-1895--an important French portrait and genre painter], Signed lower left, "E. Fichel, 1873." "The Quintet" is one from Fichel's series of Costume, Salon compositions, this one depicting an ensemble of five musicians. It measures 11" x 8.5", and is unframed. One scratch in the foreground, and paint loss around the edges from framing. Excellent condition. c. 1873. $35 US Shipping. | ||||||
