| Signed, lower right corner of each small painting, "GRG, 1924." Two colorful scenes of the City on the Water, Venice, Italy, as it must have appeared to the artist in 1924. Notice the moon above and to the left of the San Marcos tower in the lower painting. Each original watercolor measures 3.5" x 4.5" (8.89 x 11.43 cm), and is framed to 5.5" x 6.5" (13.97 x 16.51 cm), in vintage, gold-leaf composition frames, made in Italy; frames are newer than the paintings.
